The Food.

Here you will find a list of the foods we plan to bring along to keep us fueled up on our journey.   Every item will be taken out of its original packaging and placed into plastic ziplock bags.  The food will be stored in Tupperware inside dedicated dry bags for the first part of the trip and in Bear canisters only for wilderness areas.

  • Dried soup mixes various styles.
  • Spicey asian raman noodles.
  • Instant Rice a roni various flavors.
  • Instant potatoe  mix.
  • pasta.
  • Canned salmon.
  • Canned chicken.
  • Kryovact smoked salmon.
  • Kryovac venison jerky.
  • Hard Salami.
  • Whole wheat Melba crackers.
  • Rye crisp crackers.
  • Granola.
  • Instant oatmeal.
  • Instant Chocolate pudding.
  • Dark chocolate.
  • Instant humus.
  • Cheese hard cheddar, swiss, Kalkauna cheese spread in backpackers squeeze tubes.
  • Peanut butter in backpackers squeeze tubes.
  • Honey in backpackers squeeze tubes.
  • Trail mix. Lots of nuts, M&M’s, dried fruit.
  • Energy bars various types and flavors.
  • Flask of Jack Daniel’s Whiskey for medicinal reasons after long cold wet days.
