Poet’s Cove

We are enjoying a rest day at Poet’s Cove on South Pender Island. It rained over night, but has turned into a beautiful warm day and we were able to dry all our gear. What a treat.
So far paddling is a joy, but loading/unloading the boats is a major time sucking chore. It will get easier as we start eating through the food, but right now we are fully loaded. We keep telling ourselves this is a very good thing. Tomorrow we head out through the gulf islands.

Such beautiful territory you are getting to see. Glad that you have time to dry out and to have some tea now that you are in Canada.

I am enjoying reading your updates! Thank you for inviting me to listen from afar. We met at a campground, I’m the one who fell off a cliff n was scrubbing my messed up arm while you were making a post.
    Take care!
